RESD has been published in Jan 2015. The frequency of publication is twice per year.
In April 2016, the RESD is recognized by the EBSCO.
Also in April 2016, the RESD publications were identified by DOI (Digital Object Identifier) from CrossRef.
To increase the openness of the journal, the Editorial board of the journal agreed in September 2016 to change the policy of the journal from Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial Non Derivative 4.0 International License CC-BY-NC-ND to Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
In February 2017, the RESD is recognised by the DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journal)
Also in February 2017, the RESD is recognised by the J-Gate INFORMATICS.
In 2020, RESD started to implement the current copyright notice
In May 2023, RESD was accepted by Scopus.
In january 2024, RESD started to apply APCs.
